A client with a deep affinity for the color green sought guidance in untangling a living space and bedroom that felt congested, misaligned, and difficult to live within. While she owned several meaningful furnishings, they no longer felt cohesive or reflective of her story. Clutter disrupted daily rhythms, often leading her to repurchase items simply because they had become lost within the space. With a young daughter to consider, the design needed to balance beauty, practicality, and ease.
The primary objective was flow. We reoriented key furniture pieces to correct circulation, opening pathways and restoring visual clarity. Thoughtfully integrated storage solutions were introduced to house her collections, allowing beloved items to remain present without overwhelming the room. Select existing pieces were edited and layered alongside new furnishings, creating continuity rather than starting from scratch.
The bedroom called for a more decisive transformation. A poorly positioned bed disrupted both movement and rest, contributing to a sense of unease within the space. Through subtle feng shui corrections, the layout was rebalanced to support calmer sleep and a greater sense of grounding. Playful yet restrained elements were introduced through texture, tone, and form, softening the room while preserving its sophistication.
The result is a home that feels ordered yet expressive, personal without excess, and intentionally designed to support both daily life and emotional well-being.
