Stush Studios is an interior design studio grounded in intuition, function, and discernment.

The word stush comes from Jamaican patois. It describes something elegant, composed, and properly polished, often with an air of quiet confidence. Sometimes mistaken for pretension. Always intentional.

That meaning guides the work.

We design spaces that are not driven by trends or algorithms, but by the people who inhabit them. Spaces that feel clear, grounded, and aligned with how you live now, and who you are becoming.

Design, to me, is not decoration.
It is structure.
It is flow.
It is knowing what to keep, what to remove, and when to stop.

A Quiet Approach to Design

I approach interiors with the belief that our environments shape us, often more than we realize. How we move through a room. How we rest. How we focus. How we host. How we feel in our own presence.

Every project begins with listening.
To your needs.
To your habits.
To the subtle dysfunctions that create friction in daily life.

From there, I design with intention. Furniture layouts that support movement. Materials that feel grounding. Choices that are functional first, refined second, and never arbitrary.

The result is a space that feels composed rather than crowded, expressive without excess, and personal without performance.

Design with Discernment

In a design landscape saturated with trends, I believe restraint is its own luxury.

I’m less interested in what’s popular and more interested in what’s appropriate. Less focused on recreating images, more focused on creating environments that work.

This is design for real life.
For work, rest, creativity, and gathering.
For clarity, not clutter.

Stush Studios currently operates as a personal practice, offering both virtual and in-person services in the Atlanta area.

Each project is approached with care, hands-on involvement, and a deep respect for the client’s experience. The studio is designed to grow intentionally, without rushing scale or compromising quality.

This work is slow by design.
